This review gives a good synopsis of the book without endorsing or a disapproving the general argument. I hope to read the book soon to give a more exhaustive economic analysis of her argument.

How the West was Lost
Dambisa Moyo, the author of the New York Times best selling Dead Aid: Why Aid is Not Working and How There is a Better Way For Africa, is back with yet another promisingly controversial book. How the West was Lost: Fifty Years of Economic Folly - And the Stark Choices that Lie Ahead hit the shelves a couple of weeks ago and has thus far attracted enough public attention, especially in the media. Real economists are yet to share their reactions.
